This beautiful and historic building is sitting along the piers in San Francisco. Opening in 1898 on the site of the 1875 wooden Ferry House, the Ferry Building became the transportation focal point for anyone arriving by train from the East, as well as from all the East Bay and Marin residents who worked in the city. From the Gold Rush until the 1930s, arrival by ferryboat became the only way travelers and commuters—except those coming from the Peninsula—could reach the city.
Watermarks are not on the purchased photos. All photos are unmatted and signed and dated on the back.
I can personalize any of my note cards (small and larger) inside and or on the front but they have to be ordered in sets of 5 (same photo.) 5 smaller note cards (4x5.5) will be $20.00. 5 larger ones (5x7) will be $30.00. Contact me and order as a special order.
The photographs come with acid free cardboard backing and a clear protective acid free sleeve. Note cards come with envelopes and protective plastic sleeve.
Canvas wrapped means the photo is printed on canvas and stretched around a wood frame. It is done so that the outside portion of the photo is on the sides. If this doesn’t work for a particular photograph, I don’t offer that size canvas.
It may take up to two weeks to ship.
